The Chattanooga Boys Choir strives to be an organization that is an inclusive representation of the entire Chattanooga area and the communities and students we serve. We believe in the power of choral music to enrich lives, and as such are committed to providing a welcoming and empowering environment for all individuals. We believe it is a fundamental right of all children to receive a high quality music education.
We strive for diversity and inclusion among our choristers, staff, audiences, guest artists, collaborative partners, compositional sources, and Board of Directors because we believe all people should have the opportunity to access and engage in quality music programming - including those who have been histroically underrepresented based on race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, language, citizenship status, or religion.
We will continue to perform and celebrate music by composer from all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and genders and will strive to highlight voices that have been excluded or marginalized in the past in the choral music community.
