47th Annual Singing Christmas TreeSaturday, December 5 • 2:00pm & 7:30pm Tivoli Theatre "Second Chance Christmas" written by Ric Reitz. The town of Second Chance had been struck by a mining catastrophe decades earlier, resulting in the mayor's mandate that music never be sung in her town. One Christmas Eve, a group of musicians traveling to Carnegie Hall is stranded in Second Chance. These musicians, upon hearing of the proclamation, wait until the mayor goes home before singing to the town. Slowly the town remembers what Christmas used to be like, and they convince the mayor to reverse her proclamation. Special Guests: Ballet Tennessee and CSO Youth Orchestra Tickets are $11 for all seats, and go on sale through the Memorial Auditorium Box Office on November 1. Click here to purchase tickets online.
