Training Choirs Recital

This performance celebrates the work of the training choirs - Mozart, Schubert, and Handel choirs. Each ensemble presents several pieces on their own, demonstrating the progression through the each choir, followed by a few combined pieces.

Over 200 singers from more than 14 area churches will join together with the Chattanoooga Boys Choir for the third biennial Community Hymn Festival. Congregational hymns, anthems, and reflections. Free and open to the public.

47th Annual Singing Christmas Tree

"Second Chance Christmas" written by Ric Reitz.  The town of Second Chance had been struck by a mining catastrophe decades earlier, resulting in the mayor's mandate that music never be sung in her town. One Christmas Eve, a group of musicians traveling to Carnegie Hall is stranded in Second Chance.  These musicians, upon hearing of the proclamation, wait until the mayor goes home before singing to the town.  Slowly the town remembers what Christmas used to be like, and they convince the mayor to reverse her proclamation.
